I used to use the line, "well if I drank and smoked and smoked dope, I would spend a lot more money! This hobby is a bargain!"

I may go out later if it stops raining. I have the FBL 700 ready to test fly. I hope I remember to use the ideal up switch

Hey Bill, I'm sure we'd all like to hear how your test flight goes! I still have my eye on the FBL systems!

Sonny you need to get a handle on the electronics you have first, fly this season and buy next season you will go further faster.Stop changing stuff and burn fuel LOTS of it even if its hovering around you will get better and better in no time at all. Concentrate on one machine and keep it flying and in top shape and by the end of the season you will be "THE MAN"

Yep Steve, good advice! I just have my eye on FBL systems to see how they do! I am not planing on getting a new heli this season. Just flying!

Went out in front and hovered the TZ a little while ago. I had some messed up thrust bearings in it. So I changed the head with one from the new parts kit.

Amen to that! I've spent the last 1.5 years tweaking first, flying second...and it shows. That and not having a "crew" to push/help makes a big difference as well.

Was tempted to get a Protos, but I have squashed the urge. The Mini Titan and Trex 600E will have to do for this summer. Next fall I can buy whatever I want if I have any money left...

Ideally, I'd like to have a 600mm blade nitro and a 425mm blade electric bird... We'll see.

Add another Vote for sticking to ONE heli when learning. Keep it simple and just burn lots of fuel. You will learn faster I promise.

HHmmmmmmm, Let me see here, If he was a preacher, which he is not, He could practice what he preaches. But I must say that 700 looks very sharpe. I just know I need to out fly what I have before the jump to the Grandaddy of the heli's.

If I had yours or Steves money and a very understanding wife that would think that helis should come before house I would have one. But I have hard enough time keeping up with my 30 so I could not see myself with a 90. I'm thinking about selling my 50 Because it is just to much for me to handle and it scares the stink out of me. In fact I am selling all my helis and buying a Blade SR with FBL system, Yeah thats it, thats what I want for christmas. Take all the money I get from my helis and send that money to Haiti and buy a Blade SR w/fbl and show you all how to fly.

This talking **** on the computor is not working for me anymore, we need to all get together and fly and have a great time doing it. Even if it does mean egging Steve on to land his BrAnD NNNEEEEEWWWWWWWW 700 on the head button for the first flight and then take back off.

I don't know Jeff so far this year you have the award for the lowest hover. You were a hell of a lot lower than that pic Tom took.

But just think what I could do with the SR fbl heli. I would be the envy of the fields.
