Thought we can't fly after 3pm this weekend?

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

I forgot about that field. Other than the funfly I have only flown there that one time with you. Visited it a few times to watch people fly and then went to the Hardcore Field to fly. I need to get a membership there next year. I love the Hardcore Feild and the fact that most of the time I go there I am by myself but the CARDS Field would give me options. The park by my house is now getting to small to fly at as my limited skills progress. With the mCPx I can use up all of the softball field. Plus the backstop has started hindering my learning as it is on the right of where I fly so right side flying has not grown as much as my left side flying and turns.
Are CARDS meetings open to nonmembers? Only reason I ask is because the club I was a part of as a kid allowed you to attend one meeting prior to becoming a member.

Well I have a free day off work and the weather is looking good for today. I'll be hitting the field around 11am for a day full of flying!!!!!! Might even through in a few flights at the park before I head over there.

The meetings are open but not sure why you want to attend unless bored hahaha. You can work on orientations with your MCPX at their indoor flying. I have gone to most of them but probably won't be able to this Wednesday (too much stuff to do before Turkey Day) Prob make the next Wed but won't be able to make the Thursday night.

After last night at SVSU flying I have a few repairs to make lol but will be ready in a day (3 planes 1 heli to touch up). Hoping to make the HEF indoor meet.

Flew the Whiplash!
Had anyone been at the feild they would have heard me hooting and hollaring today with joy! Fast figure 8's, flips, rolls and inverted hovering where all part of my flights today on the Whiplash! What a feeling of accomplishment.

GR guys you may want to check at your local TSC store
Same sale my prevail in your area if you need a small generator.

So you have made the jump to electric helis. You go to events or want to charge some bigger batteries at the flying field. Sure everyone wants a Honda or Yamaha, but the price point is too high. On Friday,
TSC or Tractor Supply Center will have a 2000watt Sportsman generator with a little2.4hp overhead valve 4stroke motor with 1.3gallon tank on sale for $149.00. That is enough to power most big chargers like T-bone or Lars use. Also it is enough to power your small popup or camper/trailer. I tested my truck camper last year with T-bone's little Honda 2000eu and it powered my A/C unit, small fridge, and some 12v lights. So, not a bad deal at $149. If it's a little loud just use an extension-cord and move it away from the pit area. Being 4-stroke, it shouldn't be loud. Flyer is in today's Record Eagle.
