I will neverrrrrr bad talk any vendor; everrrr. But I’ll say this. It isn’t free to travel to IRCHA. The associated costs of lodging and freight for merchandise isn’t cheap. If everyone continually badgers vendors for not “showing up” it won’t help either. How many people go to IRCHA and or contact the vendors and speak with them and tell them up front that they support them steadfastly and would only like them to show there presence. They may reconsider and just might make an appearance. But alas; business is business. If it costs $7500 to get there and they made $1000 for there effort then it’s lose lose. They may also go to different events throughout the year and that’s more money more money. Now with the tarrifs in effect it will get worse for all of us before it gets better sooooo.... hold on.RIP Roman Pirozek Jr.

Well, I'm not sure what that was all about....But I have never gone to IRCHA. However if I can I'm going to try to run down on Saturday to check it out. I'll let you know if I make it

Got some good flights in today with Steve and Pat....they had way more impressive machinery than I did.

R/e Flite Test airplanes
I am flying one of the Flite Test planes- the “Bloody Baron”. Two clubs in the area are using them for RC combat: Tulip City Airforce SW of Holland, and KRAMS. Easy to build, flies nicely even with a 30 foot streamer, usually easy / cheap to fix. There’s a session tomorrow the 31st at Tulip City RC field (not at the airport of that name), 6:30. A different sort of flying!

Mostly retired plane guys there, not much in the way of heli's. I did buy a used plane just for grins as I have never flown one and always wondered.

I looked at the pics on google and didn't see one heli To bad, but planes are fun...I've only buddy boxed on one with Russ, but I've built several.

The field was windy tonight but I did get some BIG air with the Oxy 3. Then had one hard landing on the 6th battery.

If anyone is interested I'm thinking about heading out to IRCHA on Saturday, about 6am. Hoping someone else wants to go to keep me motivated because I could just sleep

Yeah Dan, that was a bummer. But I talked to the Oxy rep tonight and he said the O3 HS should be from 2600-3800 !!!!! He said that is why my tail is blowing out on flips...>LOL well, back to the drawing board. But not bad for me today 8 flights with no crashes. But on to the next question, how the hell do I get the HS up to 3800?? The gov. on the HW is set on ELF GOV so I think it is enabled but I don't really know how it works.AMA # 902723

Mark, go to this link and you will see it discussed in greater length, hopefully this will help. Basically if your in elf mode every flight you need to take off at mid stick and hold for 11 seconds in order for it to work correctly, in my opinion gov store is way better as you set it up once and your done.

Let me know if you need me to meet you at the field and show you how if you need help, it only takes 5-10 minutes tops, just have to make sure you have a fully charged battery.
