Totally off topic but related to the above post, if you had of said that 8 - 10 months ago then I'd of thought the chances would be a lot greater than now of that being true. I thought the idea of being purchased by flyco was to carry them forward, surely flyco being a well established successful business wouldn't have made such a risky purchase.

A few thing I find quiet odd is one day before it's release in Dec they made the announcement of it being delayed, this was supposedly down to the canopies which has now been sorted, yet but here we are still waiting

Carbonhead,

I notice your a new user but yet you seem very well informed, why not just use your original id so we know who you are instead of hiding behind your new mask, no offence meant but if you’ve nothing to hide and all that........

Biglahou,

People need to be realy careful making statements like that, not saying they can't be substantiated but if not they can be very damaging.

I know why they can't make updates on here every week, but it dosen't stop them doing it on their own web site

We were told by MA we would see the kits in the shops before fall. Then we were told they had a bad batch of canopies, and this is what held up getting them out. Then MA told us just days before Christmas there machines were going flat out making Carbon and ally parts for the 55 !!

21 Dec 2009
Big Sky CNC is busy Furiously producing (yes the pun IS intended!) gorgeous machined aluminum parts as well as carbon frames, and fins
Surly all the machining would have been finished before December if they were to have seriously expected it to be delivered to the shops in time for fall. After all, these machines are now 'in house' and under there control (I know they have just moved). Then there was a guy offering his help over the Christmas holls. He was told not to come as they would not have let him go as there was still a stack of work still left to do. This was in jest I'm sure, but maybe not the volume of work still left ?

I can understand the canopies being bad and holding the last bit up. But this carbon and alloy still in the machines during December just does not stack up in my eye for a Dec 2009 release.

I do read this section of RR on the 55. I've been following it ever since it was the Razor 50! I would very much like to buy a now named Fury 55, but even if it does come out, is it going to be another CX disaster where they can't get past the first batch and then can't get spares out to customers that need them??

I think MA is NOT being entirely honest with were this heli is.

Just my thoughts, I'm still buying one

Here's an update guys:

We have all the parts, and have bagged and boxed a number of kits. We have to make a couple minor changes to the manual, and one hardware change, but we're going to print it in house, so there's really no delay. The hardware change is very simple, we already have the correct piece, they just need to be added.

Kits will start shipping this week. Keep your eyes open!

I would like to comment on the statement I quoted. Sometimes there are problems that come up, and it is not appropriate to specifically name a vendor that we use as "at fault" for causing a delay. I will assure everyone that each vendor involved in this model is dedicated to providing the highest quality product, otherwise we would NOT be doing business with them.

LOL You guys are like a bunch of heli crack heads fiending for a hit... Patience is what ive learned to have in this hobby..Everyone knows you never jump on the first batch thats released, hence plasma TVs, Windows Vista, etc. You always get screwed jumping on the first batch. Why did MA say they are going to have a torque tube upgrade for the Fury 55 in the future? why not now? Because the first batch prototypes suck and theyre rushing the release before its perfected?

I just got the text message they should be at Heliproz tomorrow

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

That's because they run a tight ship, Heliproz to me is a great company, only one issue with them from all the times Ive bought from them and they ship faster than most.

They know when the heli is going to be on the shelve but wont say till they are on the shelve.

I truly hope MS make a mark with this heli, but I would say this to any heli brand in this market today its going to be tough.
