It's better than Avant who promises 2 weeks and ends up shipping in 2 years.

Am I right in thinking this heli (under the new management) has been only one week away from be ready for shipment for about 2 months now?
These may be words of some but not from MA. original date main setback was due to some of the subcontractors having issues with product and delivery. I believe they will be here very soon.

Rappy Tappy,

The T-Rex 600n Pro kit is about $520 so in my opinion an extra $100 dollars is a small price to pay for a helicopter thats built with top quality parts! im planning on getting one as soon as i can get my hands on one!

Ive seen one in person(Bert flys one locally) and this definitally isnt your standard issue TREX 600 N. Its very nice and the quality is pretty much as good as it gets.

Well worth the price tag IMHO.

Torque tube option is great, but it will raise the crash cost tag a considerable amount.

I don't think the benefits of having a torque tube will surpass it cost, and repair cost in crashes.

One aspect that has kept me away from buying MA helis until now is their cost, and their crash cost. I believe MA have improved in these aspects in their newer models, and that's why I'm planning on getting the Fury 55.

Many of us are fathers that have to keep hobbies expenses in practical figures.

Just my opinion.

Can't wait to have my Fury 55

Yes, a crash with an MA heli is expensive, but the whole point of flying an MA heli is to have a heli which will last a long time. If you want to fly real low and crash regularly, then there is no point in buying a heli which will fly for 10 years with minimal maintenance. Unless you are a newbie or a real risk taker, then you probably don't crash all that often anyways, so an MA heli does make economic sense.

I prefer to have a heli which will not spontaneously break in the air, and I'm willing to pay more for it. However I also take less risks because I don't like to pay for repairs. I'd like to think that most of my crashes are my own fault, and not a result of a critical part failing in flight.

The Align guys say regarding the lower quality of their helis, "You're going to crash and replace the part before it ever wears out". This makes sense for them--but not for me.

I cannot understand why many hit Align for their quality.
I mean I had a 600 and actually have a 700 flyin´ hard 3D and I never saw something break spontaneously. They are really good flying machines. I saw JR and Synergy helicopters break in the air and they are called Hi Q machines. So what.
Many mid air failures are due to bad or careless building, forgotten locktite or things like that.
Every brand will have failures and the more machines of one are around the more reports you will find. That´s about statistics.
MA, of course, is great when it comes to quality. I own a Stratus and Furion 450 and like them. But MA acts slowly in the market and that´s why Align will remain blockbuster. Nobody knows when their new 90 will come to market and when it finally will happen they probably will not have a flybarless head ready nor any combo packages. And at that time that will be everyday´s business. It starts now! Align teaches us.
Align is a smart company. CY brings the Rave90 package with the Total G, Henseleit a V-Bar Combo and Mikado successfully does since years!
Wake up MA.

No probs with my Align swash.

But to add I had some remarkable slop in my Synergy head. But who cares.
You will not notice it during flight I mean not really to be honest.

To truly get back on topic is when MA has any more news on the release.

I do know for a fact now that MA is having problems and I feel for them.
But the topic is any more news about Fury 55 release date nothing in that says Align quality or MA quality.

So topic again, MA any more news on the Fury 55 release date????

Im sorry its me saying this but IMO MA
is in trouble.
In this economy many are hurting and to make a come back in this stage of the game is gonna be tough.
Xmas was a good chance for them to make some money and get the heli out in the hand of the public, but some people are making that hard for them.
So many other brands like the now getting famous Outrage just to mention one are hitting the market.

I hope im wrong but pay attention to no info from MA on the 55???????

Remember MA is now owned by FlyCo. Nothing against that but they had to be brought up to speed on where the project stood when they aquired MA. They are trying their best to get the model out. First group of canopies were rejected due to paint flaws. Ask anyone who has actually put a new product out (Curtis will tell you), just when you are ready to go and all of the items are ready to put in the box, the toughest part starts, getting it in the box and out the door. Instructions, boxes, lawyers, final assembly, all it takes is ONE supplier to miss a date and everything gets backed up. I'm sure if they had any choice in the matter, the model would have been out a month ago. Still plenty of time before Toledo and warmer flying weather for most of the country.
