Super project Chapter. I see Faye sent you four of her neat ball link plywood wrenches. They sure save the fingers.Cheers - Boyd

Thanks, I wasn't sure what those extra plywood wrenches are for...probably to mount the cockpit panel but no instruction. Do you have the same cockpit panel? how do you mounted your?

The cockpit panel is the only thing I can find off the shelf item but everything else most likely going to custom made.:

Thanks Joel, yeah I hope its going to complete soon

I heard good thing about this new sensor from GER.
I have placed the order with Heliproz for this unit and the G-Force Flybarless Head.

I have a couple of Faye's IP's. One for an MD-500E and another for my 700 size USCG JayHawk. These come complete with everything you need to assemble them as a module and install them in the fuselage. Minimal scratchbuilding in my case.

Thanks Jin! Happy New Year to you as well!

Converting the Heli to Flybarless using MicroBeast System and G-force's Head.
Completed the mechanical installation of the Rotor Head.
Next, the MicroBeast sensor installation

I also received the Hinges from AirStar International two days ago but those hinges were not working properly. All of them needs to be modify (Griding the aluminum Left and Right hinges) in order for them to fit and work.

Got the Beastx Flybarless sensor installed and programed!
Also, I mod. the mechanics in the front section (cut-off the extra plastic battery tray) to provide more clearance for the Instrument Panel, Seats, and etc...of which...going to be install sometimes this year.

I have fun programing the Beastx sensor; It was very simple!
Hopefully its to go make the heli flight nice and smooth.

You are welcome GyroFreak!

So, I went out to the field today and flew the new Beastx Flybarless system. Everything went extremly well. The heli flew awesome and very smooth. The two packs 5000mA battery last me for almost 10 mins flight; The Heli headspeed was about 1600rpm with heavy Radix FAI blades. With the fuselage attached, I should able to get good 6mins flight easily. It sure how much mA left in the battery packs but will find down soon I plug the charge machine to them.
I love the Beastx V2.0. I left the 3 pots setting on the sensor as factory recommended settings and it flew great. I used "Sport" flight mode for the control behavior settting.

I'm highly recommended Beastx V2.0 for flybarless system!

Now, its time to work on the Cockpit Interior!

Thanks Unnefed and AFjetmech!

The iphone worked poorly in the dark lighting. I should use it during day time anyway...will try next time.

I'm starting the Interior Cockpit layout on CAD.
More details of this cockpit is just matter of time spending but so far this is what I have... to be cont.
