I was able to turn my SR into the 95 by using parts from my ST I had laying around not much to it but a little lathe work.

I've done some pretty cool stuff to a 50 I had laying around. It had more power than before too. I was just wondering if this guy is doing anything different than what I've done already.

Avorpilot. From my old car days.you can put 10 porter with the same motors using the parts and get 10 differnet power band and out puts.Bottom line I take toqure of HP anyday.I wish them show toqure reading not hp.this were I agree with mark on his power reading and only giving percent gain. Now Mark where are you and where's my YS? Come on guy this is not looking good.

Great fact, one that most folks don't know.
Transfer ports are the area for most improvement. Getting fuel to flow as evenly as possible in the dry spots near the exhaust is 2nd IMO. That is where our heli engines seize 1st when they go lean.
But regardless of how precise one is doing identical mods to several engines, you will get different results like Gernejr said. Every engine WILL run better, but some will show more gain than others.

Because I like tinkering with motors I did some mods to the 50. But the truth is there is no replacement for displacement, so I dropped my OS 70 back in it. It's all about the torque baby! I am interested in the "Groove technology" on the head though. That mod has potential for some serious power and torque. It's easy to do also.

I got 6 tanks on the NPrc YS91sr sunday only got up to 140f on the head but power is there. Still rich on mid and high.can see it going to be a powerhouse. I caan feel for Mark as I just got my mother out of hosp. Wed. And got home from flying sunday to take her back in sunday at 5pm. So yes it happens. Remember as a business owner we have other people do things for us and sometimes they drop the. Ball. But as a customer we don't want to hear that.

I knew about his impending back surgery, and I was worried that something happened to him that had taken him out for much longer...
I am glad that he's back and working and I hope that everything goes as well as expected with his dad.

Guys I don't think you need to worry about getting motors back but his turn around time may be a little slower than normal.i don't think this is his main income along with some personal issue and with the amount of motors he been receiving can be hard to keep up with. I have a Nova 57 and 2 OS carb I want done and waiting for him to call me to send it as it not a must have for me.as myNPRC OS50and YS91sr are cranking out the power..

Pulento you dont have you motor yet.. Back when he shipped mine out he mention shipping yours out i Thought..

Well my 700n with NPRC YS91sr hit the dirt with a ball link came lose in the middle of a tic toc.. Yes Quk links too.. Thro Hold and watch it drop as it beat itself to death throwing parts.. But the motors fine and it will be back up soon...
