Motor maintenance.
How often do you guys need to change the bearings in those things? Is it much of a job? What else is there to maintain? Piston? Rings?

If you use coolpower there is a lot of repairs. If ya use a quailty fuel like wildcat 30% all ya do is fly fly fly.

In my experience, no matter what fuel I've run, I have never needed to change a bearing, piston, ring, or liner unless I had a lean run and burned it up.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

Yea, See the Chief even knows. You want to stay away from anything that has cool in the name because it's not kool.

We're losing G-Money
Nick got the job. That basterd, I hate him. Bad enough he's throwing down the smackdown, now he's got the dream job.

Congrats Nick,

Tomorrow everybody's flying at the hut. Might be our last chance to see Nick. He leaves in two weeks. So try to make it out if you can. We'll make it a party.

We will need something to remember G by. Hey I got it! 2 mile high tail slide while pumping the sticks till its out of control and planting it right next to the HUT. Well have the Chief make a CROSS and hammer it into the ground then G will always be remembered by that last huge flight.

Sunday
heading back to the hut. Hopefully, the wind won't be as bad as yesterday. I should be there around 9:30 Daylight Savings Time (remember to spring forward today).

Byron Fuel order
Trains n Things Hobbies in TC was putting in a Byron Fuels order at a good price (~23/gallon depending on order size). If you guys want to do this call ASAP as I am not going to organize this. I just don't have the time and I won't be ordering either. I'm rolling out of town Monday the 22nd.

Last night I was sitting in my chair and I could here a heli full size getting louder. First thing I though was north flight Jim, he will come low and buzz my house but it started shaking everything in side, I thought he was landing on my roof so I jumped out of my chair and ran outside to find a Chinook going right over my house pretty low and very loud.WOW that will be burned into my memory for ever.

I want to do a scaler now, I'm thinking !!Chinook!!
