hmm, the servos I'm using are hitec 5065MGs. I also read to take advantage of the 11ms latency certain receivers are required, and the furion has one of that is listed.

If the 5065 servos not narrowband it really wouldn't make sense, since I have no plans to change those out.

I'm curious if using the dx7se would be like using a Futaba high response system in a car, the servos would be amazingly responsive. Similar to switching a gyro between standard and digital mode?

Yeah, improved latency would be the main thing. Resolution may not be felt.

I was thinking of drilling a 10mm hole in plywood and running the main shaft thru it( as the bearing block and bearing ) and I think the trex will still out perform the rappy
