Hi,

Can manufactory of all heli made the canopy using hard plastic poly carbonate, so it is easy to paint inside such as RC car?

Hopefully the are more cheaper than CF and GF canopy.

If understand........ Nice!!

That's how most helicopter canopies used to be made, before the "milk jug" plastic canopies came about. They sucked. They had to be joined together, painted, and often cracked. I used to have to build them over and over when I crashed my X-Cells.

If Align can make 'em for the 450, seems like others could as well. I like 'em too, but without paint, of course.

I looked high and low a few years ago for some for my R50's -- didn't find any. Might be time to look again.

Orientation hasn't been a problem so far with that clear canopy, mostly cuz I don't fly far away with the 450's. Might be problem with the 50's and the 90's.

No Spitfire1,

I mean it is nice and easy to spray paint inside rather than outside canopy.

Just paint inside then shining outside, no need clear paint for coating and shining it. Can select flourisine color for your orientation.

If understand........ Nice!!

It seems that it is now possible to have to make the canopy in one piece now, years ago it was not possible to do it without having to join two halves.
