ok fellow flier`s, im looking really hard at the moment for another 450 class heli.

now it can be a kit, for i have all the eletronic`s.
im looking for a good 450 class heli that wont need another 600 buck`s worth of upgrades just to have a decent heli like the blade400 did.

what are the good one`s but are still in reach of the avarage flier?

crash`s come easy patience`s doesnt

i`d rather do new yes,

and money wise? it would really depend on the heli and it`s quality.

right now im looking at clones, or the mini e325 titan, or the beam e4.
but am still wanting more suggestion`s, just type what you have or feel would make a good 450 class heli.

crash`s come easy patience`s doesnt

mini class
Any of the 450's work good. I would stay with brand models. I have a T-rex and a mini Titan. I love flying them. If you have everything to make one fly, get a Titan. They fly great and only cost $115.00.!! How can you beat that. James Wang says the plastic one flys just as good as the blinged out one.
Good Luck

I've had the Flasher 450,EXI 450,HDX 450 and a few Trex 450's.

Of all the one's I've had the EXI 450 has been my favorite flyer.
I got the $39 kit and the $39 CNC head and tail upgrade.
Shipping and all was under $100 and I still fly it 6 months later with no problems.

I literally never use the word literally right.

I have an old T-Rex 450 SE which I upgraded to the current Align motor. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years. Plenty of crashes and it still does all the aggressive 3D for me.

Take a look at the CYE NextD Rave and the MA Furion. Both are top quality. Of course, there are many others.

even not doing anything would have been better than nothing...

450 Sport or 450 Pro by Align of course are in decent range, packages including electronics and so fourth. I'd get the sport for value, and a better heli then a Mini Titan imho.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

for price and performance you really cant beat the MINI TITAN,the only upgrade the plastic one needs are 10 dollar metal upper mixing arms, and some good blades, thats it.been flying one for 2+ years and it rocks

the frame is really designed well from a maintanence standpoint, servos are easy to get to,as is the motor mount(far better than the rex)

the tail set up is unique and performs well, and a TT upgrade is being released very soon

so i have decided to go with the mini e325 for the first kit.
then after i have aquired enough part`s for atleast 4 crash`s, i`ll get a clone.

now i just need to decided on another charger, i have already the thunder t6 i picked up at hobbypartz.com for 51 buck`s shipped. but this charger has not been instock for like two month`s now, and im really getting tired of waiting.
i was also looking at the thunder a6, but cant get an answer if it has a builtin cooling fan.
if anyone has this charger can you tell me if it has a builtin fan??
these small allinone`s are getting hard to find, everyone make`s these big charger`s that i cant afford.
i`m likeing the kyosho route 246 C-03 charger from amainhobbies.com for 60 buck`s.
maybe one of you guy`s have a good site that has good price`s on lipo balance charger`s.

crash`s come easy patience`s doesnt

if you are only charging up to 3s batteries, this is a nice charger

http://www.fmadirect.com/new_applications/multi4.html

if you have any plans to go to a 500 size heli and or 6s batteries and up,you are going to have to step up the next level of chargers.I have a cellpro 4s and a cellpro 10S and absolutely love them, awesome chargers.but Hyperion makes some good stuff too.

batteries are an investment, and no matter how nice your heli is,it wont perform worth squat with sub par batts(charge/balance).a good charger is essential for long life and max performance out of your batts
