I just got back from Home Depot. Not what I expected. Very flimsy case. The alluminum is about 1/16th inch at best but probably thinner. I would not suggest this case. BTW in Puerto Rico it was $28. I guess for the extra shipping here.

If it holds a computer it should hold a transmitter and a couple of tools...

Yeah, I have seen that case at home depot and was not impressed with it... very cheap..

I absolutely love this one.... very sturdy and the foam is extremely firm, I had a Hobbico case with similar foam but it was very soft and did not last very long... This stuff it high quality!

What was soft? the case or the foam?

The foam in the hobbico case was very soft and wore out.

I'm asking cause I have an almost new one, but I see that the foam is very easy to replace. Thanks.

I have four of the alumi cases but I bought mine from Lowe's when they used to be Eagle Hardware back in 2000. I paid $19.99 and they all have lasted. No problems yet. I don't know if the cases from Home Depot are the same or not but you might check at Lowe's. They look real close from the picture.

I always see Jason Krause with cases like that. Nice Job.
Jason, Alan, and many others all use Pelican Cases. I have a Pelican 1450 for my Futaba 12Z, works great!
