figured i would post this here since most people dont go on the sub forums much i have a feq questions about the vbar

so i have mine set up travel adjust on tail is right i used the default logo 500 setting but upped the agility and the response to aggressive so i have a few questions

1.how do i adjust the amount of pitch i will get? is that just agility as well?

2 the swash moves in the right directions when i tilt the heli (away from motion) although it only moves slightly is this normal or should i expect more movement?

3. when i input full back or front elevator the swash moves quickly to about 90% of motion then last 10% goes really slowly is this normal?

4.what should be my checklist before flight to ensure the heli isnt uncontrollable i kinda dont wanna plow in my logo 500 on the maiden

nash it was actually really easy to setup i was just double checking with people i got answers on the logo forum everything was set up right so im ready to fly

1. There should be a Bar on the far left that labeled "collective" just move this slider up until you get the pitch amount you are looking for.

2. There isn't much correction needed. The swash shouldn't tilt an exorbitant amount to correct for movement.

3. Mine did the same thing... I upped my ATV's and the problem went away... be careful not to make them to high other wise when you hold full left aileron, the swash will "toggle" between full left and right roll. Same with the elevator ATV's ( if you hold full forward elevator and your ATV's are too high it will toggle between full forward and aft pitch.

4. Just make sure the vbar initializes. It will give a collective "jump" two times very quickly to let you know it has initialized. just don't touch it while it is initializing. If you are unsure... shut it off and try again.

atvs are the endpoints right? mine are at 100 should i go to liek 110 or something?

Move the EPA's up until the swash plate does as I described... You'll have to move them up, and then check by giving full left aileron and hold it for a while... if the swash doesn't "rock" between left roll and right then your ok. If it does then move the EPA's down a few and try again. My EPA's are at 140 but that's should vary per setup.

So are you disregarding the basic setup requirements by changing your EPA's? I thought the only use for EPA's was to set/calibrate the transmitter.

Changing the EPA's will give you better resolution. You can then turn down the throws to prevent binding with the "cyclic ring" funcion.

Changing the EPA's will give you better resolution.
Interesting that it needs to be done that way. But how much of a difference was/is there between calibration EPA's and changing the EPA's to "give you better resolution"?
