Originally I was going to use a Scorpion HK 4035 560kv, I've read that the Xera motors run a lot cooler then the Scorpions which is a big plus for me. On paper the Xera 4035 2Y 600kv looks like a great stand in for a HK 4035 560kv, but from what I've seen most people are running Xera 4030 Y2.5's in their 600's. The wattage of the Y2.5 is much lower then that of the HK4035 and 4035 2Y, are people running the smaller Xera motors for longer flights? I plan on flying a mix of FIA style big fast aerobatic flight and hard 3D, so power is probably more important then 7min of flight, if I can get between 5-5:30 out of a 10s 4000 I'll be happy.
