I was reading a forum and they were talking about the RJX head and the 3DX head... they were saying that one of them requires you to bore out some hole somewhere because the bolt interferes with the main blade grip thrust bearing.

I was not able to figure out which head they said you had to do that with.

I prefer to buy a head that I dont have to make changes to and I like the look of and the reviews seem good for the RJX head.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

I have the RJX head. The bolts for the blade grip control arms are a little too long. Just need to grind down the bolts a little. I think it was less than 1mm I removed. NO BIG DEAL.

I have a fairly new RJX heads and everything was perfect. I think that they fixed the long bolt problem a while back.

That was for a 600 size. I have not tried the other sized but I have hot heard any complaints form the T500 guys.

... BTS

The 500 head pops right on. Nothing needs to be ground down.

Ditto on the above comments.
Fitted the RJX head to my logo 700.
all I had to do was redrill the mainshaft so the shaft went well into the headblock, but absolutely no mods needed to the head itself
