do you get live view video out from the camera to feed the video downlink when recording full HD?

You bet. When in live view the video out 3.5 mm jack provides a video feed for your down link.

Note
The AV outlet on the 5D Mk II is a stereo plug not mono like other DSLR's
The Video is on the ring not the tip of the plug, audio is on the tip. (in case you are making a short lead for it)
