Sorry that didn't fit the bill of what I was looking for at all. Show the same heli 5 feet off the deck, let us see the disc oscillations and how things react. If the heli was a couple hundred feet lower and closer it would be much easier to see what was going on. No disrespect to the pilot, but from the video he could have been barely hanging on half the time it's so far and dam high all the time..
I say all this as I seen a few people "who can fly well" try such things without stabalization systems in place, both said the word "scary". And they know what they are talking about. Sure you can play alot of tx games and do some mixing, make it maybe "ok", but if you're low and want "predictable" and "precise" it is not going to happen without a stabalization system in place.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I just recently tried RJX FBL heads on my 500 and 700....it was NO fun at all to fly. I tried up to 50% expo and it was still miserable to fly. I got it to hover...ok, forward flight was a constant battle with fighting forward elevator as it constantly wanted to pitch up. 3D was out of the question, flying 3D without the stab unit was miserable to put it nicely. Anything low like piro flips were just plain scary. Its exactly like flying a heli with no tail gyro, it can be done, but not done as well as if you had the extra support of a unit. Sure I could fly it around and flip it and loop it like you see these guys doing in their videos, but when you actually try it for yourself you will relize very quickly its not what they hype it up to be at all. Try doing precise manuevers low to the ground and close up...someone please take a video of that. I went back to the flybar,I have a new appreciation for it.

flybarless
I just tried a Raptor 30 flybarless without a stab unit

It was a bit scary in a hover...but in 3d flying it seemed "OKAY"

I wouldn't try low 3d with it that's for sure...too unpredictable like Jetblue said...

this was just an experiment for me...I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who actually cares about theirmachine or wants a predictabe and precise flying machine...there is no "LOCKED In" feeling without a stab unit...with a stab unit there is a VERY locked in and positive feel to the heli...

I got the heli to do piro fips etc...but they were not nearly as smooth or clean as with a stab unit..
