Painting Century Airwolf
Just finished my Century Airwolf and clear coated it with SprayMax 2K Glamour High Gloss Aerosol Clear ($18 a can). WOW! this is good stuff. You have to use a proper mask and filter set with this as it is dangerous if you breath it in. Very please with results I will let dry for a few days and mount my Hawk 50 mechs. I wish Century come out with better retracts.

What is wrong with their retracts? I have used them in a number of helis (some of these helis where not even from Century) and found them as good or better then most?

Like most others of their day, their older versions, from a number of years ago, did not have a down lock, so they were a bit more critial in their installation, but all their current ones have this feature which makes them reltively simple to install and they work very well.

Mind you, I would have found any retract a bit of a fiddle to install in the 30 sized Bell 222 or Airwolf, as they are relatively cramped for space compared to the 50 or 90 sized fuselages.
