Trex main shaft needs to be hardened

hey, Align , we need the main shaft to be hardened. with my trex electric with the servos direct to the swash and my new Vblade extreme 710s the shaft is bending in flight. 10 flights and Im getting a out of track sign and a head thats wobbling.
Its time Align. that cheap 12mm hollow shaft is no better than a good 10mm solid shaft.

I'd suggest you re-look into all your linkages and check that each ball is tight on and not loose.

If you had a bent mainshaft, it wouldn't make your blades go out of track or wobble. It'd vibrate so badly that start seeing your ENTIRE heli going into a blur that you think that you're seeing double vision

I swear it'd make you go WTF! and after hitting Thold, your blades will come to a complete stop within 10seconds

And JFYI, from what i know, Hollow shafts are actually stronger than solid shafts.

Not true. I had a main shaft that was very slightly bent in a crash and I didn't notice it at first. Flew the heli and notice a slight vibration and the blades where just a little out of track. Replaced the main shaft and everything back to normal.

So a slightly bent main shaft can have subtle symptoms.

Ive seen it happen on a TREX 700 electric also...depends on how its being flown. I saw it with my own eyes one time but never again.Xera Motors

AT a funfly about a month ago, I also witnessed same thing of a 700N that got bent in flight, it was not a pretty sight, almost a re kit.....Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

naw! but I will look for the solid one from my Joker that bent in flight too , that happen the first of the year, I would expect it from flybarless. but with a flybar. mine is touchy, very responsive for a flybar. I like it that way.

Yup, happened to me too, sneeze at it and it bends, I had about 10 mainshafts at home before I sold my T700E.
Even a hard landning on the 700N and first thing that happened was the mainshaft bending.

Running lower head helps (Bonta etc)Gone fishing..or hunting..or something

subscribed, I crashed my 700 and didn't bend the mainshaft (broke the blades though). Got off lucky that time......now where was I, dh/dt = BS-dx/dt
