first you need to limit down the problem..at this point it can be any number of things.

Is this free play from side to side, or up and down?

If its up and down then you need to adjust your mainshaft collar, dont forget to use loc-tite.

If its side to side/forward and back then find out which area its moving at. is the acctual shaft moving, or is just the headblock moving on the shaft?

If its the whole shaft then you prabably need new mainshaft bearrings, and possibly a new mainshaft if it was slipping on the bearring.

If its just the head block then I would suggest replaceing the headblock, however you can take it apart and reassemble it with alittle green loc-tite on the top of the shaft to get rid of the play.

If you do all of that and theres still play then put a light coat of green loctite on the outside of your mainshaft bearrings and re-install.

some people use to wrap electrical tape around the bearring but because you have the metal bearring blocks thats not an option.

Hope I helped

Iv noticed this on alot of 600s that the head is starting to wear on the main head block. no matter how hard to tighten the bolt it wont take this play out.

Some people have said that some tin foil around on main shaft and then put the head on to of that will take this play out.

Mine is giving me this play but not yet dont the tine foil trick as not done much flying

i'll vouch for the inside of the head block wearing down. I had this problem too and narrowed it down to the hub wobbleing on the shaft. When I installed the new center hub I could see a big difference. Rock solid.JoJo

Beware
no matter how hard to tighten the bolt it wont take this play out.
Do not try this or try to fly like this. Tigtening the jesus bolt down anymore than just "snug" could VERY easily cause a bolt failure. Which usually leads to a total loss of a heli.
