Tonic-X Z30A replacement bearing help Can someone tell me the exact dimensions of the bearings in a Tonic-X Z-30A 1110kv motor?I'm using one in my E550 and after about 240 flights it's squealing (even after oiling). I'm going to source some new ones.ThanksDiabolo 700UL / Logo 700 / 600 / 500 / Goblin 500 V-Bar NEO / Oxy 2 / Blade 180CFX / mCPX BL / Nano / V-Control |

Can anyone tell me how to get the bearings out of the Tonic-X motors? I have it apart and have tried for quite some time with tools, shafts, etc. but I cannot get either bearing out.Hasn't anyone replaced their Tonic-X/Z-Power bearings yet?Diabolo 700UL / Logo 700 / 600 / 500 / Goblin 500 V-Bar NEO / Oxy 2 / Blade 180CFX / mCPX BL / Nano / V-Control |

Just tap them out, maybe lightly heat the bearings, they should come out with not too much force. |

Craze,I've not found a good way to tap them out. There is a flange on the inner side (center sleeve?) that butts up against the bearing on both ends of the shaft. I cannot get any tool on the inside to stay on the smallest edge of the bearing for me to tap it out.I've only been able to try to get a large screw to grab on the inside and then pull out on the bearing.I guess I'll try heating a bit to see if that does the trick.Diabolo 700UL / Logo 700 / 600 / 500 / Goblin 500 V-Bar NEO / Oxy 2 / Blade 180CFX / mCPX BL / Nano / V-Control |

The two Z-Power motors I have, have the bearings glued to the stator and I've never had to replace them. One motor I used to have started squealing and the bearing had come unglued, but that doesn't sound like that is the problem with yours. The only thing I can think of is heating it.Stan 2- Logo 500 Ion X2 eAvro90

Thanks Stan. I did try heating it but still no luck. The previous time I had the motor out for oiling, I noticed that one of the bearings was not as smooth as it should be.I will try a few more times while heating it but after that I think I'll call it a loss and get another Scorpion or Xera for the Raptor.DaveDiabolo 700UL / Logo 700 / 600 / 500 / Goblin 500 V-Bar NEO / Oxy 2 / Blade 180CFX / mCPX BL / Nano / V-Control |
