Bent Hex Bolt
I keep tearing up the pinion bearing in the clutch bearing block on a 600N. I change it and the problem returns in short order.
During the first flight today the heli started feeling sluggish so I landed and checked it out. The main gear was hard to spin. When I got it home and all apart the aluminum hex bolt in the clutch bearing block was bent bad and the pinion bearing was shot.
I put LukeRC metal main shaft bearing blocks in after the last pinion bearing failure hoping it would solve the problem but it's back. I can't figure where the flexing is coming from to cause this. My other 600 has never done this....

Maybe your frame has a very small crack in it..allowing flex in the air but not on the bench.

Maybe somehow, either friction or heat transfer it just warms up to the point where the normal stress on the part causes it to bend.

Maybe you just got a bad batch of the hex bolts..Align has bad batches of things all the time.

Without looking at it thats about the best I can do..hope I helped
