Tonic z20A?? All this motor stuff is confuzing, I have a Tonic z20 980kv, with the 22t pinion on it I used on a hdx 500?, has anyone used it on a trex 500, helidirect are saying its a good choice for the Outrage 550 on 8s but If anything I would of thout its less powerful, its bigger than the 500L in size but the wires seem smaller. I dont understand for the Z20 it says Max W-Sec. :1100-40 / 1300-15. The Align 500l is about 800 watts, does this mean the Z20A is more powerful than the 500L I plan to get a Scorpion in a few days, but this Z20 has only been flown 3 times and just got me wondering, 22t would give me a good headspeed. Also out of boredom(its raining here) I put some of that green bearing glue stuff on my 500L shaft where the bearing seats and put it back together for something to do, there is no play anymore and Im half debateing putting it back in the heli to see how it goes, anyone done this, wondering if it will just get loose again within seconds once its spooled up.
