392mph slope soaring record

I thought these things were pushing the 200mph limit not the 400mph limit, that is just nuts

The record is cool, Dynamic Soaring is very cool, but it's still not not as hard as 3D with with an R/C helicopter. This is a known fact.

Mind-boggling! They're gonna have to redesign radar guns just to keep up with those guys.

The record is cool, Dynamic Soaring is very cool, but it's still not not as hard as 3D with with an R/C helicopter. This is a known fact.

I don't know about that. I'll say that's true at 100-200 mph...
But at 400mph lets look at a couple of things

400 mph = 586 feet per second

That's a football field every half second

Fast as a speeding bullet?
.38 caliber tracer round is just slightly faster at 650 feet per second

oh yea and careful if you blink that takes 300 milliseconds, and means the plane will have moved 175 feet.I put the fun in dysFUNctional :)

im amazed they can even keep their eyes on the thing. much less that the gliders can handle that much force. that would be awesome with a FPV installedonly way ill ever make the jack is if i work at a cheese factory
