YS91 SR will not start
Have a YS 91 SR and it had about fifteen flights and the piston was scored because I ran it too lean. Also I overheated it and it stalled. Put a new piston, ring and liner in it and I am not getting fuel or good pressure after cranking for a while. The check valve looks good and I am wondering if something in the fuel pump system got damaged from the overheating.

The ring needs to seat before the pressure gets normal, can't do that turning the engine over.Chris

Could have a bad glow plug but this pressure situation doesn't sound right. I'm pretty sure I get a little pressure almost immediately when giving it a crank or two. Crap, as hot as it is here, mine builds pressure just sitting there. Might want to take another look at the one-way. Be sure it's in the correct direction and check all the fuel lines for leaks.

If you are getting at least some compression when turning the motor over, you should be getting some tank pressure. Do you feel any compression at all? If not, put just a little bit of fuel (not too much) in the motor. The oil will help build compression.

Check the diaphram as mentioned and also the fuel inlet nipple. Try to blow air into it and see if air passes thru the fuel nipple. There was once some thing caught in the fuel nipple and I cannot start mine too. After I check the above all are running sweet.I am a noob flyer from Singapore! Team Nitro Magic
