30v2 to 50 conversion - couple of questions I am going to upgrade my 30V2 to a 50 and have a couple of questions...Thinking of the new Redline RL-53H for the motor - any problems fitting that into the 50?Will the Redline fit the standard 50 size motor mount (PV0107) or do I need to order a specific motor mount?Thinking of using the governor on the Spektrum AR7100 - any experience with that governor on the Redline, good or bad?I currently use a carbsmart and have been very happy with it - does it fit easily with the new Redline? It took some work to make it fit on the OS37...Lastly I've been struggling with my clutch on the 30 - this is the 3rd set and it keeps being very tight - I have to hold on tight when starting the motor and even at idle the clutch grips and spins the blades. Any suggestion for where to look before I try another clutch and bell? |

Redline 53 All I can tell you is the new Redline TT53 has awesome power hooked up to a Redline TT high flow pipe.Same setup in my new SE.Buddy of mine had the 53 with a different pipe and every pipe he tried choked the motor. He changed to the high flow pipe and it woke his heli right up. |

conversion If you are going to convert to a 50 get the titan boom and spend the extra cash and change the head over to the SE head. You wont regret it (15 degrees oh my) |

You stated your struggling with the clutch issue, Let me ask did you put a "new" clutch shoe on when you put on a new clutch bell?Reason being is if the clutch shoe is sprung (shoes spread out) no matter what clutch bell you put on it's gonna want to grab and turn.Or did you do a Re-line on your clutch bell yourself? Most issues with clutches grabbing are two fold: -Clutch has been realigned and inadequate clearance is allowed. -Clutch is sprung, so shoes are always pushed out and dragging on bell.Let us know, simple issue to fix buddy. The SE is a 50V2 heli.the only difference is in the head from the auto rotation gear up to the top off the head. |

The PV0107 mount will not work, it's for the old style TT 50, the 53 has the same bolt spacing as the OS Hyper, I can't remember the part number off the top of my head |
