Vibrations
Ive tried everything ,balancing,dial indication and all else I can think of . Heli flies fine but fuel is more shook up than I like it to be . Is this normal or am I missing something ?
I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

Do you have the stock engine mounting/dampening system? If so I have read where some have hard mounted the engine and the vibs have gone away.

Vibrations
Im having a few my self, i beleive i have found the cause.

I keep having my dampeners rubbers slipping out from one side and offsetting the balde grips and unbalancing the machine.

once i put them back into the head correctly and fly its perfectly smooth!

a few hard manouvers and they slip out and the tank is foaming again.

i have some free play in the grips (spindle too long?) so i have shimmed this out so the bearings are not notchy at all.

i will fly it this weekend and see how it goes

I too have serious foaming and sloshing effect in my tank. I have removed 1.5 mm from the tank opening and despite the tank now fitting better this mod seemed to provide no benefit for curing the problem. I am going to attempt to find harder 0-rings for the engine mount and clutch system - it seems that perhaps the standard ones are too soft and could be creating too much oscillation throughout the frames. I'm using the YS91SR and when pressurized the tank seems to fit properly.Problems ? -- Mine are flown in fresh daily

Sanding 1.5 mm is too less.

I took off 2-2.5 mm and had a OS HZ engine mounted.
Everything was smooth after that.

When you are driving a Yamada 2.5 - 3 mm should be better (due to the blown up tank).

Retry before getting crazy!

OK I beat it today all was great still had vibe in tank but no fuel delivery issues (10 Min flights)I did notice the 'O'rings pushed out on both sides of grips I repaired and will see if it is better . I do know with design of heli vibes are normal my Synergy has same vibes in tank . Fuel tank is thick and acts like a drum with engine vibrations .I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

Vibrations sorted finally!!!

I took bird out just for five minutes for quick hovering and no sign of vibes that were there before.

How I have sorted vibes out:

- Original lenght spindle shaft used.
- Harder head damper 90c from Futurac

I imagine that is his name, and isn't critical to the solution.

So, original spindle length? so your blade grips have slop and the slop has worked to smooth out the head?

Sorry to confuse with -Samppa =firstname
Back to o-rings round diameter is thicker,

Od=13mm
Id= 7mm
Wall 3mm

Inner and outer 90c and mid is original o-ring.

I have tried now 3 different spindle lenghts, with original o-rings.

Head seems to be working ok with harder and bigger o-ring, is the originals then too small and soft

i flew mine today and my vibes are worse than ever before !

i shimmed up my blade grips and just let them "squish" the dampeners
and it shook so bad it actually upset my gyro and it let go in a hover and spun 150 deg to the left and then stopped so hard it blew both radix tail baldes in half !!!

i managed to get it down ok but i broke the 2 left carbon landing legs.

Has anyone done anything that has actually stopped there vibes with sucess ??

Im really starting to scratch my head here, i have had to resort back to my Synergy airframe so i have something to fly.

My tail fin blur looks to be gone. I only did a test hover and figure 8's on the side yard. Hopefully I can test it to day at the field. But I have gone from crazy tail fin blurs to no vibrations. I still have fuel sloshing issue. I replaced all shafts, new style tail gears and torque tube. It had a little tail fin vibration still. I balanced the fan, clutch bell and readjusted the motor alignment. And they seem to be gone. Now I did get mine used and it was crashed. I did not know that until I noticed the landing gears were cut shorter. So I'm not sure what vibrations were cause by the crash or not.Srimoking

That would be nice!

BUT i would prefer to figure this out myself.

Personally i feel its more of a builder error than a fault in the machine, so i will persist until i find it, and let everyone know what i find out.

sending it back saying "No good" is not my idea of modelling.
