You have to list your radio, governor and what flying style you will be using. You have the gyro down yeah? Basically you will follow the installation manual for the governor most likely at this point your throttle curve will be liner. Once installed you will set your throttle curve above 50 usually to be on the governor. You will set the governor by giving it a channel value from one of the channels some radios have an actual governor screen, Futaba 9+, JR 9+, or you can just use travel adjust from a channel if you want to. You will give the percentage value to set it from the gear ratio for your heli, found in your heli manual, using the percentage for your kind of radio found in the governor manual.

wiring trex 600
I think I would be able to program it once it has been wired properly. My problem I am not real sure how to do this. The manual tells me how to wire it without the engine governor/voltage regulator. Then the diagram that shows those items shows nothing else and I am slightly confused. I don't want to guess at this, I want to know 100%.I am just entering the world of helicopter so I don't have a whole lot of flying experience. The ignition is Align. The gyro is a gy401 by futuba. The voltage regulator with ignitor is built by align. Its model # is RCE-B6T. The engine governor is a RCE-6600 built by align. The receiver is a AR7000 built by spectrum. I also have a spectrum DX7. If you need more information don't hesitate to ask. Thanks,Doug

rc heli fun 50% flying + 50% building
i tink its best u go to your local flying field and get some1 to teach you step by step since u just started this hobby.

setting mechanical stuff like pitch, cyclics, linkages throw are just a few that is very difficult to explain in words. then u will need to do electronics programming for gov, gyro, curves and expo etc2... then there is engine tuning, blade tracking and what not.

its a shame if u set it up improperly and crash expensively. plus rc helis is very dangerous.

at our field, i can say almost every1 is willing to spend time setting up any newbie's heli, me included. i actually enjoy setting helis up. but i do prefer the owner is keen on learning rather than just want it to be setup.

once u understand the basic mechanics of a typical heli or transmitter, then the rest will come with experience.
