Strange issue with binding - Futaba recognizes both receivers!
Hi everyone

I am having some issues with my futaba 12fg. It apparently showing two receivers active at the same time. Both of the receivers have the green locking light on them. Has anyone ever experienced this problem before?

Thanks so much
Andy

That's normal, FASST just sends the GUID during the binding process and will work with any bound RX which is why it's instantly on with no delay. Also, fast is constantly cycling GUIDs instead of just rotating two like DSM.

And it's not a matter of recognizing, neither DSM or FASST transmitters receive anything, they just transmit.

Basically when you "bind" you're telling the RX to "memorize" a globally unique identifier (GUID). Whereas DSM generates a unique GUID for each RX, FAAST transmitters have a common GUID so you can use multiple receivers on the same model.
