I have flown the MS 600 night blades for many years.
They auto like pooo, Flight is not great but OK, the MS are the most visible commercial blades in the air.
MS is the only ones that I know of that has lighted tail blades.

I now do all DIY night blades.
When MS converted to the lithium batteries their reliability went away.
And now I see that it is $189 for a set of 600s, it will continue to be DIY night blades for me.
DIY can be more visible, better flying, and half the cost.

I have got 3 sets of their 550's, one being nightblades. I think they
fly pretty nice; loops, rolls, flips, sport stuff. Can't tell ya how
they would hold up to 3D. Might have to agree w. the opinion on autos
though; would really like to have other blades to compare to, on that.

Have not tried MS600s, but know most 550s probably don't store a lot
of auto energy in them anyway.

And he was referring to the older N/Bs having Nimh batts in them, like
mine, but don't know anything about the difference in reliabilty

I just got a set of MS composit 550 3D blades, althought I have not tried them yet, I don't like the shape of the leading edge, It's more rounded than being more aerofoil or edged. The round leading edge might hinder the heli performance by increasing drag VS aerofoil shaped leading edge. I like the gohbee 550's and the mavericks compared to these...based on the shape alone...still need to try it though.

Yes I was erroneously assuming that you were referring to the MS night blades.
I have never flown any MS blades other than the night blades.

Most modern blades with safety conscious design use anchor to tie blade root to tip so the blades or parts of it will not fly out like a dagger. I do not believe MS Composit use such safety devices that are on Radix, SWE. The anchored blades will splinter and fray but will not shoot out.

I would recommend that you pick among the ones that have the this safety feature.

I have also heard that these blades are very poor for 3D. I've got a pair coming for my Trex 500 so I'll let you know how I feel.

That's quite a testiment to hear/see Tareq liking them.
