At the price that these are going for used or like new it seems like they would be a great bargan.

I'm a sport/FAI style type of flyer and I think it would suit me just fine.

Even if the replacement parts are expensive, I could buy used and stock up pretty well. Plus with my type of flying I don't crash often anyway.

Thought?

The model is perfectly suited to your flying style, and the parts aren't that bad in price either. Hell, you can buy a new kit in the classifieds right now for $400 and another frame for spares for a third less than that.

These are solid, reliable, and well flying models. Get one and enjoy it.

I am a contest pilot and I flew models from another major manufacturer for almost 15 years, but decided to make the switch to Hirobo late last year.

I now have 2 Freya/Evo 90s and I can't believe how well they fly. I couldn't be happier. The quality of the Hirobo parts is outstanding and the models fly extremely well. They are easy to service and very dependable.

A few of the parts can be a little pricey, but most are reasonable. And, frankly, almost all models have some parts that are a bit pricey. But, the real difference is that I get the expected quality when I buy Hirobo parts.

Parts availability at Ron Lund's HeliProz South is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
