New piston and ring installed. Need to tune again ?
I just replaced the above in my OS 91 SZH.

How do I go about breaking in the new piston and ring ?

How long do I need to ride it easy ?

When I replaced the liner and ring on my OS 50, I set the needles back to the factory position, adjusted for reasonable power and broke the engine in a somewhat rich condition, still making sure that the engine got to operating temperature during the break-in flights. After the 3 or 4 tank, I started leaning it until I was back at the power I was used to.
