ohhh my... that lite machines contraption would certainly please all the ladies if there was even a hint of vibration. |

The 2 laser algorithm is very sweet of maintaining distance.Does any one here who's thinks he understands this can point out what all goes in creating something like this ?I know its a tall question.Machine over Gravity |

I think counter rotating is perfect for FPV, GPS and large budgets but not so good for manual flying because of the orientation issue. It sure would eliminate most of the vibration that is common for a heli though.Ace What could be more fun? |

ohhh my... that lite machines contraption would certainly please all the ladies if there was even a hint of vibration. LOL... actually its very effective in combat operations. While flying into enemy territory, the enemy sees the flying dildo and instantly break out into hysterical laughter. The US army then swoops in and captures them all without a shot being fired. The enemy is quite aimable as they have had a good laugh before they go off to the brigg.he 2 laser algorithm is very sweet of maintaining distance. Does any one here who's thinks he understands this can point out what all goes in creating something like this ? I know its a tall question. That is rather easy actually, they bounce a laser off the wall and measure the time it takes to see the reflection/return. If you know the speed of light, and you know when you triggered it then you can calculate the distance by distance = rate * time with rate = speed of light and time being the total time from firing to signal reflection/return.DaleLoad "*",8,1 |

The 2 laser algorithm is very sweet of maintaining distance How about 2 lasers illuminating a single point on the ground beneath the heli. If you know the converging angle of both lasers then you'll be able to calculate the distance? |

Lite Machines oh jeez! Flying pleasure device? FYI the guys who develop that machine frequent here..The LM design is pretty darned cool. The deployment options are the neatest part IMO. |

LM designers are fore sure 'ladies man'regarding distance measure , laser time lag sure sounds good.I am curious to know what controller and what sensors will be required , and whats the effort of man hours involved ?Machine over Gravity |

A camera on TOP of two sets of rotating blades = Near zero chance of surviving a crash.
