Which Logo to get .. 500SE or 600 ?
I am itching to get a Logo. I currently have a Outrage 550 on 8s a HDX HC500, and a Trex 450Sport. I'm thinking of selling the HC 500 since i dont fly it that much and replacing it with a Logo, I would like to use the 8S 4200mah packs on the logo so i can share it with my Outrage 550. I also want to put a Vbar on it as-well.

Ready Heli has a Logo 500SE, And Logo 600. Rite now i fly 550mm blades on my Outrage 550. It would be nice to have the option to run 600mm blades on the SE or 600 since i have some lying around. My question is will 8s be enough power for 600mm blades or should i just stick to 550's ? Also is there any advantages in getting the Logo 600 for a few dollars more? Can i run 550mm blades on the Logo 600. I'm a Logo newbies so any info is helpful. Thanks

The Logo 500SE is 599
The Logo 600FBL is 661
Logo 600sx, Logo 690sx

I think most people are running 10S &12S on thier L600s. It seems to me the 500SE would be exactly what you're looking for, as far as batteries and blades are concerned. As long as you're not looking to stretch to a L700 later, I would order that 500SE before they sell out.

I'm not sure, but, I think 4200mAh on 8S pack will be very short flight times on the L600. I'm sure someone with some experience using a similar setup will chime in soon w/ more info.

Good luck! GO LOGO!!

If you want to use the 8S batteries you have now then Logo 500 or Logo 500 SE are your only choices. The Logo 600 is designed for 10S and ideally 12S.

The Logo 500 SE according to Mikado is designed to work with 600mm blades and 6S power. So your 8S packs will be more then enough. I would highly recommend the SE because you have the option to run either 550, 560, or 600mm blades on all the same heli. The only downside is the SE only comes with a vbar head, but sounds like you wanted flybarless anyways.

Thanks for the info. I just purchased the Logo 500SE from ready heli. Seems like the ideal setup for my needs. I'm excited to see how this heli compares to My outrage 550 on 8S.Logo 600sx, Logo 690sx

Way to scratch that itch!!
That was fast.

I'm just finishing up my Logo400 build and have yet to maiden it. I still need to do a few final things, but I have been VERY impressed with the quality of the kit in general. I can't wait to fly it!

congrats! heres some ideas for setup,

500se:

6s 5000 rotortech 560mm, hk 4025-1100 mod 0.7 ...most affordable powerhouse, good for "agro" 3d

8s 4000 mikado 580mm hk 4025-740 mod 0.7..better autos, powerful but "floaty", better all rounder.

If you are starting with a blank slate, 600mm and 6-8s is a good way to keep the lipo industry in business.

I recommend 10s 4000 mikado 600mm, hk 4025-740 mod 0.7

I run 10s 5000 now, it will strip the mod 0.7 gears with a 4025 scorpion because it runs longer, runs hotter, and has 10 ounces more to throw around.......trying mod 1 with a 4025-630 or 4035-560 next time.

Hi Nate,

If you can't afford the Jive 80 HV, go with a used Jazz 10-32-55 ESC. I use one on my 8S VBar TRex 600E swinging 600s and the ESC never gets warm. The Jazz 55 is awesome on 8S with 600s, is bullet-proof, has an awesome governor, and you can pick them up for under $200.

BTW, I don't use a heat sink on my Jazz 55. No need to...

Keep 'em flying.

Would the 55-10-32 work well for a L400 on 6s 3000mAh also, or better on 8s?The less a man makes a clarative statement, the less likely he is to look like a fool in retrospect.
