How to control Camera's burst during Panos?
Hi,
I have a question I have always been wanting to ask.

Now, i have a Vr360 and I have a Canon 450d (= Canon XsI)and if i sometime can afford a fisheye lens, I want to start shooting panos.

Here is what i don't understand:

I need about 6-8 shots for a complete 360°
My mount needs ~4 seconds to spin
My Canon does 3,5fps and can only take 6 RAWs, after that slower continuing

So if i start shooting (I am now thinking i just have a servo pushing on the trigger...) and spinning the mount. After 2 seconds the Canon's buffer is full, but the mount is only half way round...

Where is the walk around for this? It isn't anyhow possible to tune down the shooting speed of the canon to 2fps or something like that by any chance, is there?

Shoot in Jpeg, use the Canon remote shutter with a RC switch. I use the RC flysoft switch. Simple as that. Robert

Could of course use jpeg, then it can do 55 pics without stopping, that would work, but i really want to use raw, just for having all the options afterwards..

I think I would put a cam (either electrical or mechanical) that would fire off a shot every 60 degrees of the pan. Take as much time as you like. No reason why you couldn’t take 10 shots per rev. if you wanted. What is the gear ratio on the pan servo? Take a shot every revolution of the servo. Does it matter?
