Spectra G flybar Paddles

What do you think are the best Flybar paddles for the flight capabilities and characteristics for the Spectra G?

Looking for great stabilization with some head turning cyclic rates for flipping. Have the FAI (weight add) ones but i made them too heavy and now my roll rate blows! Tried the stock ones (white) and not its to unstable for a gasser style!

I think you want two things at the same time that you cant get at the same time. Stability and instability.

does Miniature offer anything in between the two? If not get some other brand.Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

you could try the black minair paddles that look like the white ones only they are 5 gm's heavier or just get some clamp on weights for the white ones. they will still be neutral sensitive but a little more stable. or get some sab 25 grm paddles. you wont get both ends of the spectrum but may find a happy medium . tom

Try trimming the leading edge of the white paddles, it helps a little in the stability dept and is cheap to replace if you don't like them that way.

I Just weighed my weighted black ones at work... i remember making them the heavier side of things at 46 grams a piece. I think i will get the same set of black ones from min air and just use them as is. they have a really nice airfoil to them and the white/ black ones have a really week one.

Thats just an idea though.

So after a fun filled weekend of some flying here are my conclusions.... The 46 gram FAI paddles are nice but a bit too heavy for any kind of fast sport or even light 3d.. it rotates way too slow even with a slightly higher RPM or increased rates

The stock white ones are too light and not enough airfoil for my taste.. however the roll rates were insane!

I now have installed the xcell pro black paddles... NICE airfoil... no added weight and its right to my liking!!!

I run rhe black paddles on my old 1005 Min Air gasser and find them great.Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

You could always try using the black paddles with no weight and just add the bolt on weights to the fly bar. This way you can just add or subtract weight til you find what you like.
