I haved used both coolpower and the wildcat cy fuels. I think they are both very good, the wildcat runs a little warmer than coolpower but they make the same power and myself can't tell the difference. I will fly whichever one I can get the cheapest at the time. |

I think it all depends on what motor you ar running. The TT .39 & .50 are suggested by Mfg to run coolpower and not WildCat. I dont know why, thats their suggestion IMHO they are both excellent fuels.Fly it like it's your buddys bird AMA#914056 |

Curtis flies OS engines. He actually helps develop the OS line of engines. He also developed the CY Blend of Wildcat fuels. Guess what engines he optimized his fuel for?????? Yep, I bet he worked hard to make a perfect match between the OS engines and the Wildcat fuel. The next product he worked on was the perfect exhaust system. Enter the MP6!!The OS HZ engines, Wildcat CY Blend, and MP6 make for a wonderfully matched combo. They are intentionally designed to work well together, and BOY do they ever!Cool Power and YS engines happen to have a long standing relationship as well. They are designed to work well together, and they do.Having said all of this I am NOT saying that CYblend wildcat doesn't work well with YS engines (mine sure does), but I am just pointing out the intentional goals of those that research and develop these products.Tyler |

I just purchased my first couple of gallons of wildcat 30%. I have been a coolpower guy since I started flying heli's and I have to say I can't see much difference other than wildcat goes for about $20 a gallon and coolpower ranges from $27-30+ in some places. I did have to richen the needle up about 2 clicks when I made the switch though. No big deal.Running it in a novarossi 57. |

I have run both Wildcat 30 and Cool power 30%. I really didn't see too much of a difference. Thought I'd mind switching when the LHS ran out of WC but the switch went very well.

I like the Wildcat Helimix, I have run both the CY blend and the Helimix and I like the low smoke of the Helimix. I find Wildcat to be the most consistant fuel sold! |

Byron 30% I am living in Abu Dahbi and the local hobby shop only has Byron 30%. I am flying a Vibe 50 with th YS 50 pumper. I always use Cool Power and never had an issue with this motor, OS 50 Hyper, OS 70's or my YS 90 SR. I am running my first gallon of The Byron 30% and the needle changed slightly and there seems to be less smoke than I had with the Cool Power. It may be the 120 degree + heat and 90% humidity but not sure. I found out I can get CP in Dubai but it is a considerable distance from Abu Dahbi. Unless someone has a major issue with Byron's I was considering staying with Byron's purely from a convenience point of view. |
