I have a JR X9303, which I am very happy with.

I only have two minor bitches:

- it doesn't have any programming for swash timing

- the servo 'slow down' feature, for whatever reason, is only available in the airplane menus, not the heli menus. This would be pretty useful for some scale details, gear, etc.

Other than that, it's excellent!

I'm using Futaba 9CHP...and still in MHz range type.
Recently, I bought Hitec Aurora 9 (Yes 2.4GHz). No manual included because manual not ready by Hitec yet.

After being using like 1 or 2 weeks, the LHS called me up to ask me whether want them to send my TX back for firmware upgrading or not?

According to LHS, the firmware upgrading is for adding new features.

After I query with Hitec representative in RCGroups, realized that the firmware of v1.3 (which what I have on my Aurora 9) IS NOT MEND for production or not for sales. They said the LHS SHOULD NOT have sell me in the 1st place.

I send them back to the LHS for them to send it back for changing. Till now, they still haven't receive the updates from Hitec yet. According to the LHS, I will most likely to received it on beginning of October. Bummer!

So now, still using my Futaba 9CHP

I've used both the 9C and x9303 and they both work well, you're going to want more than a 7 if you get into a nitro scaler because eventually you're going to want lights or retracts or some cool toy.Andy

Futaba 9CHP Super. Great radio! I love it and will use it until it works no longer. Futaba, however is no longer making/selling this radio the 10C took it's place. "what goes up must come down," hopefully in one piece!

If I could afford all the extra money I would have had to pay for Futaba 2.4 RXs for all my aircraft, I would have bought a 12X!

I'll stick with JR, thanks...
