this is what I use and it works for my needs. I'm after relative differences, not *exact* measurements.

A fine distinction and a worthy goal, but one thing common to cheap scales is that their calibrations often drift.

Tain't a big deal. For what we do, relative difference to a tenth or a twentieth of a gram -- measured on a relatively drift-free scale -- will do fine. In the long run though, spending a bit more for quality tools is never a bad idea.

All due respect, of course.

well if you want to really get more accuracy buy two or three of them and take the average of their measurements. At $12/ea it's affordable. 1.5 yrs with this scale and I have never found myself wishing I had a better one.

Two, three, or more won't be any more accurate than one.

Just get one decent one and be done with it.
