Make sure you know someone before you lie to them. I purchased a supposed NIB Align Gov. from a guy last year here on Runryder. I thought the transaction went rather smoothly untill I got the item in the mail about a week later. Not only was the item open (which was not too bothersome), but it was missing a mounting bracket and magnet. So, I did what anyone would do.... I messaged this person and told him that although I was not going to dispute anything, I wanted to let him know that he was not completely truthful in his add. Issue resolved... at least that's what I thought, untill last week. I have only flown the bird that I put this Gov on about a dozon or so times when in the middle of the flight the motor starts going crazy... "great, I threw a magnet." Got to looking at it on the bench and saw that the pickup wire had come loose from the Gov. When I pulled out the pin from the plug, It was obvious that it had been soldered back in place and been broken before. Now I'm really kinda peeved... so I sent another message to this person about how he must have known this before he sold it too me..... not only does he insult me in the return PM, but he tells me that it's my own fault.....Now comes the time for my post Subject heading.... this person that has now done me wrong twice..... had no idea what I do for a living or what information I have at my disposal. Needless to say, I have his Home address, cell phone number, girlfriends name, girlfriends cell phone number, previous home addresses and failed business information...... I could if I want to ruin this persons existance.... Now, don't get me wrong. I won't!!!.. but, just make sure that you know who you lie too before you bite off more then you can chew.Rant over... you can all go about your business. You too Chris!!! Oh, and tell Melissa I said hi.I sold another one to Terrafirma...... wife wants to know where the money's at!!!! |

I posted negative feedback for him. He hasn't posted on RR for over 180 days and has not sold anything on here since me. I can't beleive that he actually sent me a return PM.......I sold another one to Terrafirma...... wife wants to know where the money's at!!!! |

You know... I though RR had a policy about merchants not being allowed to sell their wares on the classifieds... after looking into this guy... he had a RC hobby shop that he incorporated.Yes, a year later.... I just flew that heli for the 10th or 12th time last week. Too many hanger queens....I didn't know there was a statute of limitations on scams.... I sold another one to Terrafirma...... wife wants to know where the money's at!!!! |

There are some rotten apples here! My one bad experience was a used motor I bought. Got it and the wire leads were WAY too short considering I had to put on new bullets, wasn't going to work...seller agreed to take it back if I split the shipping back. (Canada) Not a bad deal.Life is tough, it's tougher if you're stupid |

Well, I'm glad yours worked out... I'm only out $16 for a new governor sensor and shipping, but it's the principle of it.... if it's used/repaired.. then advertise it as such.....I sold another one to Terrafirma...... wife wants to know where the money's at!!!! |

i agree. advertise as it is and BE HONEST. There always seems to be some dishonest people trying to rip others off. It always makes buying and selling a bit nervous for me. Luckily I haven't been burned yet. I take the risk to save $$. Imagine if everyone was true, then we could all just buy and sell without worrying about getting scammed from anything from a $45 governor to a $1500 heli combo. |

I'll never buy any thing that I can't dive and pick up for my self. If I can't drive and pick it up I'll get one of my RR pals to pick it up for me and look over the condition.If someone i trust here on RR picks up a faulty item, Oh well They tried their best.If i pick it up, You can beleve I wont be saving my money for a trip to Florida. One year later? Seriously?First off this package was sold for 45 shipped!Oh and I do believe we have a record of him offering you a new magnet. Infact we have all of the messages behind this if youd like to play that game. Ive shown it to others and it doesnt look too good for you...he tried many times to make it right for you about a year ago!The gov came out of the T700 kit(at least back then the bracket opstions were not all thrown in the kit combos). I know I baught it for him for our project. It was never used but I do believe a part was used just to reference for size and put back. Post a picture of the pin if youd like but I do know that entire set was never used...we used a multigov.Beware doing business with this guy! I advised chris to give him negative feed back so no one else has to deal with him. You guys may not know chris well but I do and hes a good guy. This guy has a couple screws loose!CarloXera Motors
