The helicopter is only as good as the operator. With that kind of patience how can you think about building and flying a model helicopter. Money can buy you the best of the best but if you are not up to it the best is not going to do anything for you.

Money cannot buy personality or patience. That has to be learned.

I an not sure but it sounds like you took more apart than you needed to. Did you take the frames completely apart? I think all you need to take out are the clutch bearing block bolts and then the whole clutch stack will slide out the bottom after removing the bottom/engine. I've had mine apart and don't remember it being that bad but if your missing pem nuts that could make it harder. I've never had a problem with any of the pen nuts on my fury or Spectra.

Put the heli on one side and take a breather from it...

When you have your head back in gear come back to it and analyse and cure the problems with a clear mind. The way you sound at the moment can only lead to not paying attention to what you are doing and causing further problems down the road, been there, done that

Ranting and raving won't get help from folks here or manufacturers though I understand your frustration. I hope when MA have completed their move they get their house in order!

It's just this dawg on gassers that giving me the problem,i have built atleast 20 helis now and ONLY and i say ONLY the gassers are the problems. I have 8 or 10 helis all fly great with no problems from day one but not the gasser.

Thanks for input

Smallplanes, definitely time to take a break. The discussion on how many bolts was based on separating the bottom half from the top, it had nothing to do with the number of bolts holding the clutch in.

Actually, I had just taken mine apart to swap out engines when I read the post and on my workbench were two halves of a Spectra G and 8 bolts in the nut tray. My method leaves the two A frames on the bottom half and after disconnecting the battery and fuel lines the two parts easily separate. the other solution (one I have never done) seems to leave one of the A arms on the bottom and one on the top which would then reduce the count to 6. By the way I put mine back together and had forgotten to check something so I took it apart using the 6 bolt method and it took about 5 minutes.

The clutch is more of a challenge because the bearing blocks are holing everything in line.

Best of luck to you with your G

I want someone from Heliproz,Ron'sheliproz south or someone from MA to get in to touch with me and soon or i will run this heli so far down you wil never be able to sell another one.
Well I guess it is MA’s turn to take unwarranted verbal abuse on RR.

Smallplanes, you don’t stand a prayer’s chance in hell of receiving any help from the manufacturer with that attitude. You have publicly shown on this forum your incompetence. You scream for help and then ignore it when you get it. Where do you think you are going to go from here?

The bearing had aluminum shaving around it and it just feel out. There was not thension on it at all they made the hole size to fig for a simy press fit. Raja keep telling me to clean the oil out but i did not put any oil in it. From the very first time i cranked it i would have to go above 1/4 thr just for the blades to start to turn. At the end it would take 3/4 thr just to get them to turn. I put my hand on the bible i did everything by the book,it has never had a hot start. I don't think i could even hold the heli down if it had a hot start. What do you guys think happen to it so soon?

Thanks for any help

Ivan,
Your pictures are so far out of focus, they are almost useless.....You really need a new camera or a different technique !!

Raja never said that YOU put oil/grease in it.... I believe that what he said is that (rather unlikely) the bearing may have come with grease in it and that it may have leached out into the clutch liner and bell.... that is sort of what it looks like to me....... those dark streaks, even though out of focus, looks like grease to me....

Correct me if I'm wrong ???

I'm not sure what would happen if the assembly was run with grease in it, other than "slip".....

Looking at the bell you can see the lines where the grease/oil has been thrown out on to the liner and this has caused the clutch to slip.
I don’t think they should build the clutch with any grease I certainly wouldn’t for the reasons I just mentioned.

The next point is at the first sign of the clutch slipping you should have grounded the Heli and investigated why, running it like you did just let the shoe slip until it destroyed both the shoe and the liner.

It will cause friction while slipping and turn the liner into charcoal and render the shoe useless if run long enough with the amount of heat generated in the process.
