who still flys a shuttle? My first Nitro bird is a Hirrobo shuttle ZXX. I know its an old design but it what I got. Anyways I get the last of my equipment tomarow and will be setting it all up. Any sugestons, key points or warnings. Its an old design but I wont be able to out fly it for awhille. |

Shuttles I set one up for a new guy earlier this summer, and then another about 3 weeks ago.....both are progressing very nicely.....
The Shuttle line taught a LOT of us to fly and it still does just fine and all the parts are still available!!!! Good machine to work with....not the hottest 3D machine out there, but do you really need that to learn to do curcuits???  Good Luck, and have fun with it.....  Stan |

2 Shuttles I've had two Shuttles for the last couple years. Taught me tons. Heck, they taught me everything. I pushed them farther than anyone thought they could go at our field.When I first I brought my ZX to the field folks snickered. When I hovered it they said hmmm, when I flew it in forward flight they said cool, when I looped it they said wow, when I rolled it they snuck up on the ZX sitting at the table and asked "how many degrees of pitch are you running on that thing" When I hovered it up high inverted it just became another acrocapable heli at the field...........but the progression of learing was OH SO FUN!!!! and I made amazing friends along the way!The ZX had a battery failure and now resides in a cardboard box, the Shuttle plus blew its OS .37 engine and is down for parts. Meanwhile I built a Sceadu Evo and flog its Redline on the weekends.All three have solidified my belief in Hirobo as a solid manufacturer while I fly in a Sea of Align Nitro's and electrics. Won't budge from my Hirobo's though, they keep me different from the rest and that's how I like to live my life.I'll get the Shuttles up and running in due time but I have my eyes ont the SDX for the near future.T |

one in a jet ranger body one with an electric conversion running on 6 cell lipos one with the mrb 3 head on it and the other with an os50 inside with the sceadu boom and 600 blades although its being rebuilt as the tail let go and i was to slow hitting the throttle hold for an auto |
