imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. whoever has rigged up their own ap mount without borrowing ideas from what they have seen elsewhere, please stand up and be recognized...

I think you miss the point here, do you honestly think any of the guys that paid over 3000$ and spent all their savings for a mount like this, and then hand over all the details to another bro so he can make one for free, and on top of that, here on RR?

Thats why we are making jokes of it, it was simply to dumb question to be posted in here, IMHO.

if you are talented enough to actually build a working (insert any engineered product here) from pictures, the more power to you, brother. all he was asking for was a pic of a shaft to mount connection, not the schematics for a flux capacitor

which BTW looks like this:

shhhhh, don't spread it around. you saw it here first on RR

This is horrible!!! Its one thing to give away the details of a camera mount but to just straight up post schematics AND pictures of the flux capacitor is freaking outrageous!!

Now it is possible to take spherical panos of a high rise before it has even been built!

Think of the time savings (no pun intended)

Or panos of the Golden Gate during construction.

Off to the patent attorney...

I'm going to be so rich it's ridiculous.
See you in the future, suckers.

Nah, his patent expired in 405365 B.C. After that, it was fair game.

.... I'm still laughing at Track's "Scandanavian beatdown" comment.

Flavouring is another word for "taste"

No, lets get back to topic, anyone with some macro pictures and CAD drawings of that mount?

It´s not that I´m going to copy the whole darn thing and try to sell it as my own design. It´s only an interest on how they (Copterworks) did with the shaft.

I guess I had it coming. But the petronizing attitude and "- Hey lets make fun of the idiot asking to copy a 3000 dollar piece of equipment" kind of comments is not fun at all.

I have a design in the pipe for 1 mount that I´m going to make for an upcoming AP business. I was just looking for some different inputs on some parts of the design from different companys. In this thread the Copterworks outstanding mount.

Thanks!
