Trying to get the value of a 90 SE RTR
I friend of mine needs cash and is wanting me to buy his 90 SE. I was hoping you guys could tell me what its worth....
It has the following

Raptor 90 SE
os 90 v-spec with viper head and terry pump
v blades and paddles
muscle pipe
futaba 9252 x 4 servos
601 gyro
everything else factory
well set-up, never crashed
maybe a gallon thru it

He probably has $1650-1800 into the heli. Typically, I would not pay over 60% for used. Do the math. That works out to about $1000 if everything is in good shape. Check the C-spec engine with Perry pump carefully. It is an older engine that may have significant rust on the bearings and crank if not properly stored after the one gallon of use. The pump could be frozen/gummed up too. Have your friend demonstrate it is all in good working condition. The 90 SE is a good heli.

It doesnt matter if it has 8717's and a gy520, its pretty hard to make a good sale with the rappy. I would say $900 max is the most you would end up with no matter what your starting price is.

The 90SE's are great helis, i say part it out, you'll make more money.

I'm thinking of selling my 90SE airframe and OS91SZ for $500 if that helps. You'd need battery/switch, gyro, servos, RX, and blades.

Edit: I upped the above price after remembering how much I have into it.
