12Z ???

Hi Guys,

Just ordered a TM-14 and R6008HS to convert my 12Z to 2.4G

Currently I am using the R5014 DPS G3 reciever. The latest software was installed in the radio by Hobby Services last week when the Pots were replaced.

My questions:

1) Will the radio need to be reprogramed or will it recognize my current models? (Yes,Will recognize existing models)

2) Will the reciever input locations be the same? (No)

3) Will the rev max limiter work on 2.4G? (No)

4 Throttle Max in Limiter Mode works on 2.4G

Well yes and no, the module you just plug in get it close to you rx plug a bat to the RX and press the very small link button for asec or two when you let go it should go green. That means the RX remembers the radio.

Now on the servo location they will be in a different layout than they were before,you may have to change them around in the RX but then everything should be the same. But do a bench test first.

I am having a problem with the new Throttle Max not holding with fast collective inputs. Tried both Normal and High speed settings on the reciever, changing throttle from channell 6 to 7 & 8 still not holding.

Is anybody having a simular problem?

The telltale sign that the TJ isn't working with the HS RX is that the throttle will pulse. If the speed isn't holding that is another issue.

Problem solved, The new Throttle Max has two modes of operation Govoner or Limiter. During the calibration mode you can exit low stick gov mode with a green light or the preferred method of high stick limiter mode with a yellow light.

I have two of the older models which was limiter only but i forgot how to set them up my self, i did not know the new ones would do both. These are throttle jockey pros right? I love mine,it a very good product. Glad you got it.
