Very cool video about an asteroid coming our way in 20 years.

I have hard time taking news of catastrophe from a guy cracking jokes about it the whole time. Might just be me, but that seems odd!

He's actually a very highly regarded astrophysicist.

And in case you doubt the story, here's a NASA page about it.

I'm a big fan of Neil deGrasse Tyson. I've learned quite a lot about our Universe from the documentaries he's hosted. His delivery is clean and he's extemely knowledgeable, and more importantly he's able to convey complex ideas in ways non-Ph.D's can understand -- a rare skill.op-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-thwop-t

Oh thank you so much! April 13th is my birthday. This will make my birthday kind of a bummer from here on out. "Say, what did you get from your birthday?" my friends ask. To which I replied "Oh, just some socks, a tie organizer, and the four horsemen of the apocalypse."

If anyone's looking for me, I'll be at the liquor store.

Gee I think we should start planning a congressional cruise on one of the Carnival fun ships. Of course this would be at tax payers expense.
And we could get that annoying Kathie Lee to host the cruise.
But hey I couldn't think of a better use of my tax dollars.
