TP 610C Cycling Question
I think this is the right place for this. One of you electric guys might be able to help.

I would like to use my TP-610C to cycle my ni-starter, but I can't get it to work properly. I have a 1700 mah sub-C nicd in the nistarter, and I've tried cycling it, but the charger discharges for less than a minute, goes through the 'hold' period, then charges for less than a minute, then goes through it again, for each cycle. I end up with results like - 1 mah discharge, 9 mah charge. I know that the battery works because I used it on my plank this morning for four or five starts - no problem. It takes a charge from my Charge+, and reads over 1.4 volts. I have the mv set at 15mv and tried it at 20mv, but, I admit that I don't know what that means. Charge current is 0.85ma, discharge is at 0.25ma, discharge threshold is 1.1v. What could I be doing wrong? I have no problem cycling or charging my flight packs that have five cells, but this one cell ni starter isn't behaving.

Thanks for any help. I love this charger and would like to use it for everything.

Never mind - I think it's the battery. Oops...
