Ys 91sr Gurgle???
I have 2 700's both of which have 91sr w/ sb 19 hatori's both have same needle settings and yet one has a gurgle when I do full throttle/pitch climbouts, needle settings arent getting rid of it either..... yet you'd think since they are both the same setup and fuel they'd be perfect as is... Someone please help!!

PS im considering changing o-rings, diaphram, and gaskets

OK... When In a hover or idle up and I give a full pitch climbout or even slightly less than max pitch it gurgles(shakes as if it was rich or not tuned right) all the way through the climbout and like I said the temps and everything is the same as the 700 that runs good with same setup. ALL BEARINGS are NEW, another procedure that I went through just in case and EVERYTHING balanced properly.

Ive already tried to tune while disregarding temp and the engine still has that gurgle/vibe regardless of lean or rich needle settings

Your next move is to start swapping parts, I would try a few different plugs and head shims first.Chris

Try your boom struts. I had the same problem on my 700, and found it to be the struts were loose at the ends. A spot of cyano and problem was gone.

I've tried the blades and the vibration didn't change..... I will definately try the ca on the struts as they are a little loose, as far as needles go Ive leaned till I heard cackle so that's been ruled out since the beginning! I'm gonna swap motors this afternoon! Will post after....

If it's the engine i suppose It has to be the piston and liner as I have replaced everything else, and someone on runryder is getting a claim filed against thm for lying about the barely used engine

The engine could have one flight and be ruined, That is the most critical time. Would have nice if you mentioned it was not new, hard for us to help with limited information.Chris
