Yes, that is the 700 reborn. At our club picnic, the rest of us ate hamburgers, hot dogs, fish while the owner of the T-Rex got the "T-bone" steak. At the fun fly he got T-boned and at the picnic he got a T-bone.

I'll donate one of my 450's to the cause. Better yet, you and a friend can just hover. let me fly around... I'm bound to hit the both of you. I won't even have to try...
I told the doctor I broke my leg in two places. He told me to quit going to those places...

Nah, just start a new Metal vs Plastic Grips thread.

Serious answer, hopefully there will be a VERY LARGE 450 size derby at next years Gathering in AC New Jersey!

So many more entrants and carnage!

Interesting topic. Here is some food for thought. It appears everyone thinks one heli is in a hover and the other ran into it. What if they were both moving towards one another. Does that change everything???? Usually at our field there is a flight pattern established depending on wind. But then maybe that is only for plank flyers. Here I come to save the day !!!

in a free-fly zone, perhaps, but as the event CD has stated in this thread, the logo pilot exited his box and crossed two other boxes in order to hit the T-rex. The fault in this case clearly with the flyer who left his assigned area.

Im glad they took care of your 7 for you.. That's good news!

I hadn't asked anyone, but though he was joking on here, musclebrain did feel bad it seemed(just by looking at him). I think in my psycho analysis, this was his coping mechanism.

I mean(LOL, and he know's who I am! LMAO!), I am not the greatest pilot in the world, and I had a bad accident(almost hit a kid) two years ago, and he has teased me since then. But this, I said one thing to him that day, and normally, he would respond and say something smart back, but it was just silence. I mean, dude, you can't fly! LMFAO! That's just the truth, but I did feel your pain.

I know it wasn't intentional, but those things, as we have told you, you have em setup too fast man! Alot can happen fast with any machine, as all of them, electric or glow, these days, are overpowered. You have seen us throw our Synergies around, and that 500 probably weighs a 3rd of the weight and as much power.. But, it's on you. My suggestion is to tone it down some, concentrate on some stuff and come out doing new things and with a new level of control.

That high speed pass thing, dude, thats old, and dangerous... You don't have to do everything at mach 10, but then, you don't have to be like me eithter and everything is "slow-flowed".. So in essence, we both need work.. All of us that can fly have something we should work on.. There is no shame in that... At least not to me..

Just my thoughts,

Damon
Every time I fly I loose more hair! LOL
