Tail issue on my 700 today Looking for some diagnostic help here. While flying my 700 today the tail started doing very strange things (not holding, 90 degree piro's on its own). Got the bird level and put in an auto only to have the tail take a couple of hard movements again on the way down. My first thought was a stripped tail drive or servo gears but both seem fine (even though I have not been into the servo yet).Set up is a Solid G with a JR 8900G servo.Any thoughts???? Has anyone ever had a Solid G fail on them or go intermitent? Same way with the 8900.. Or maybe something else? Thanks for the help... |

I've seen a servo start to do that when too much voltage was going through it. Are you running a stepdown or ~5V regulator on it? |
